...this Prague based Slovak impressed us with his self-released, tenderfully sharp confession on Domovina (Homeland), and also a striking eclectic but cohesive heavy-atmo liveset...

After we got together, he delivered material where he shows exactly that - long cinematical tracks melting off to IDM, experimental drum'n'bass rhythms, echoes of techno, industrial elements, ambient with droney soundscapes, downtempo, and sampling traditional music, natal folk jazz...
Setting that respectfully into the new contexts - these "flashbacks" suggest a theme of healthy nationalism - belonging to a land and its natives rather than the state itself, despite wherever or whose the country is...

A surprising and intricate record, challenging yet suggestive of further attention that it deserves. A vibrant musical flood overflowing the ruins of illusory walls of the genres, unexpectedly appearing above an imaginary water-surface, swamp and fields, with the author's vivid ideas floating around or sinking into the depths... EP1 certainly feels more like a full length album.
